French interaction programme

French immersion is a type of bilingual education in which a student who does not read, write or speak French is given training in for subjects such as geography, science and history in French. The French immersion is generally undertaken in French schools. You will find these schools in several parts of the United Kingdom and Europe. Although there are several software available to teach French, but children need some teacher led training to learn the basics of the French language.

If you are interested to send your child to one of the French immersion programmes, you will have to select a good French school. In addition, you will have to check the reputation and the fee structure of the French school. As parents, you will also want to visit the immersion programme centre, so that you are satisfied about its facilities and amenities that are provided by the centre. When you call up the French school, ask if they have the facility of preview visits. If they have the facility of preview visits, you can go to the French school and have a brief look at the facility or centre and also get to know more about the French interaction programmes. On the internet, you will find hundreds of French schools, but selecting the best from them is a daunting task. You may have to take the telephone numbers and call the French schools one by one to get more information. The French interaction programmes have smaller groups to enhance the effectiveness of the programmes.
